Frequently Asked Questions

  1. During application, the frosted colours are glossy. Is this normal?

    - Yes, these paints only become frosted after they dry. Also, make sure you always stir the paints in the bottle throughly before using them

  2. How can I lighten the colours?

    - Mix them with the gloss medium. Do not exceed 1/3 medium to 2/3 paint.

  3. Can I apply successive coats?

    - Yes, either without waiting for the first coat to dry or apply a first coat, bake it and then apply the second.

  4. How can I dilute the paint?

    - Use the thinner. Do not add water as this would reduce the resistance to washing.

  5. Can the mediums be used on their own?

  7. The paints did not resist dishwashing very well! Why?

    - Several possibilites: a) surface was not degreased properly with alcohol; b) paints were diluted with water or c) baking temperature or duration were not observed.
